ForbiddenX is a custom 718 RuneScape private server built around PvM progression and a player economy. It is aimed at casual players and pairs its bossing content with custom minigames, a prestige system and daily events. Instead of handing out random Slayer tasks at any level, the server structures Slayer as a tier-based progression, and most monsters feed into a loot key system with its own chest.

ForbiddenX runs a heavily customised build of the 718 revision.

Revision: 718 (custom)
Game Modes: PvM and PvP content, with Ironman modes available

Tiered Slayer: Slayer follows a structured, tier-based PvM progression rather than assigning random difficulty tasks at any level.
Loot Keys: Most monsters and bosses drop loot keys in four rarities (Common, Uncommon, Rare, Exotic) that are opened at a chest.
Currencies: Progress is tracked through several currencies, including Forbidden seals dropped by bosses, Loyalty points, Trivia points, Slayer points, Skilling points, Achievement points and Dungeon tokens.
Custom Minigames: The server includes custom minigames that are not part of the original 718 content.
Prestige System: A prestige system gives players a further layer of progression.
Daily Events: Events run every day for the community.
