Dawnrest is a Blizzlike Vanilla World of Warcraft server built as the non-permadeath companion to the team's main WoW Hardcore realm, WOW-HC. Players can clone characters over from the Hardcore realm, though only soulbound items carry across, not shop purchases, spells or pets, so progress transfers without breaking the server's own economy. The realm runs on Blizzlike x1 rates with no rate layers, and it benefits from 2.5 years of scripting and debugging work carried over from the studio's Hardcore project before Dawnrest itself opened. It launched as a progressive realm, releasing content in phases rather than all at once, with its own team applying the same updates and bug fixes across both realms.

Dawnrest runs on Vanilla World of Warcraft, patch 1.12 with elements of 1.14, and is currently in its first content phase, with Molten Core open but not yet cleared by the population.

Hardcore Character Cloning: Players can clone a character from the team's WoW Hardcore realm onto Dawnrest, carrying over soulbound items only, with shop purchases, spells and pets excluded.
Shared Development: The same team applies updates, suggestions and bug fixes to both the WOW-HC Hardcore realm and Dawnrest.
Blizzlike Rates: The server runs at Blizzlike x1 with no rate layering.
Progressive Content Release: Content unlocks in phases, currently sitting in Phase 1 with Molten Core open.
