TheraWoW is a Wrath of the Lich King 3.3.5a realm built around a single idea, which is that you should be able to see WotLK content without first assembling a guild roster. It runs on AzerothCore with the playerbots module, so every player can pull AI companions into a party and take them into real dungeons and raids, and it layers an automatic scaling system on top so the encounter adjusts to however many bodies actually turned up. The realm is also cross faction, meaning Alliance and Horde share chat, groups, dungeons, raids, battlegrounds, arena, the auction house and mail rather than sitting in two half-empty queues. Around that core the server runs a set of quality of life changes that were never in the 3.3.5a client, including transmogrification, guild houses, account wide mounts and area looting.

TheraWoW runs the 3.3.5a Wrath of the Lich King client with the full WotLK raid set, and it keeps a Blizzlike lockout structure underneath the scaling. WotLK raids use seven day raid IDs across their applicable 10 and 25 player and normal and heroic difficulties, while the legacy raids Zul'Gurub, Ruins of Ahn'Qiraj and Zul'Aman run on three day cycles. Dungeons scale automatically whether you enter solo, in a small group or with a full party, and raids can be run with as few as five players because difficulty adapts to the size of the group.

Playerbot Companions: Every player can invite up to four AI companions into a group, and VIP accounts can invite up to six. The bots tank, heal, interrupt, dodge ground effects and follow encounter mechanics in Trial of the Crusader, Ulduar and other raids rather than standing still and auto-attacking.

Adaptive Scaling: Dungeon and raid encounters adjust their health and damage to the size of the group that entered, so a five player raid clear is a real clear and not a stripped-down version of the fight.

Cross Faction Play: Alliance and Horde characters share every social and group system on the realm, including battlegrounds, arena, the auction house and mail, which keeps queue times and the economy tied to the full population instead of half of it.

Weekly Event Rotation: The realm runs a fixed weekly schedule, with Wednesday set aside as professions day and an experience boost that runs from Friday through Sunday.

Quality of Life Changes: Transmogrification, guild houses, account wide mounts, area looting, racial trait customisation and dynamic mob respawning are all built into the realm rather than offered as paid unlocks.

Alt Bots: A separate alt bot system is in beta testing, letting a player bring their own alternate characters along instead of only generic AI companions.

Client and Addon Downloads: The site hosts the 3.3.5a client download directly alongside curated addon packages including GearScore, Carbonite and KRT Kader Raid Tools.

Vote and Donate Shops: A vote shop and a donate shop carrying more than 200 items are both available on the site.
