Elyon Aion is a European Aion server running patch 3.9 with a level 60 cap, rebuilt on official retail files rather than on a heavily modified emulator base. The team's stated position is that 3.9 should be preserved as it was, so there are no custom battlegrounds, no modified gear and no artificial progression systems bolted on. Authenticity extends to the class roster: Bard, Gunner and Aethertech are absent because they were not in 3.9.

The technical work is where the server differentiates itself from other 3.9 projects. It ships the official 64 bit client with a modern launcher, and it runs a retail grade geo engine and AI, which is the part most Aion private servers get wrong and the part that decides whether pathing, line of sight and mob behaviour feel correct. The server is hosted in France, with anti DDoS and anti cheat protection, daily backups and 24 hour support.

Monetisation is strictly zero pay to win. Credits are earned through gameplay, every cosmetic is obtainable in game, and the Atreia Pass is explicitly non pay to win. The content set is the full 3.9 one, including all dungeons, sieges, Tiamaranta's Eye PvP, housing, crafting and dynamic world events, with active GMs running live events on top.
