Treat uaRO Eternal Bastion as a planned group evening

uaRO Eternal Bastion is not an objective to begin simply because several people happen to be online. Its published structure asks for a coordinated party and attention to rules that can end an attempt. Before organizing one, check whether the group wants to learn, improve an earlier attempt or pursue a specific milestone.

Choose an objective everyone understands. A first group may learn more from a controlled attempt than from treating every delay as a race. Explain how the party will communicate and when it will stop before gathering the final supplies.

Know the documented entry and wave structure

The official Eternal Bastion page lists a minimum party of 12, base level 85 and a four-hour maximum. It describes 100 waves, with a final boss selected from a pool. These are operator-published requirements and mechanics, not proof that a party meeting the minimum is ready to finish.

The same page states that changing party composition destroys the instance. It distinguishes disconnect recovery from leaving or dying out. Read those conditions together before promising that a missing player can simply be replaced halfway through the session.

Prepare resources for the later part of the attempt

Storage is documented as available through wave 79 and removed from wave 80 onward. That creates a useful preparation checkpoint: know what each person will carry before the later segment begins. A supply plan that relies on indefinite storage access does not match the published structure.

Discuss what happens if someone runs short. The answer may be changing the pace or accepting a learning limit for the attempt. Decide that together instead of expecting one participant to improvise an expensive solution under pressure.

Separate advancing faster from understanding the encounter

The operator documents a majority-based !skip vote that can bring current and next wave enemies together, with exceptions at milestones. Faster progression can also mean overlapping pressure. Make sure the group understands the choice before using it as the default response to a quiet moment.

For a first attempt, give people time to recognize the movement and communication expected of them. A shorter clear is not useful if the group repeatedly loses members because the pace prevents anyone from understanding the next problem.

Learn the defeat and recovery rules in advance

The Bastion page describes removal on death, with milestone-granted extra lives under specific conditions. Do not reduce that to a general promise of resurrection. Everyone should know what the current rules allow and how an early mistake may affect the rest of the evening.

After a difficult wave, describe what actually happened. Did the group split, miss a warning, run short on a resource or misunderstand a role? Choose one adjustment. A useful review gives the next attempt a direction rather than merely assigning blame.
