PlayConquer is a Conquer Online private server built on the 2.0 client, the version most players think of when they picture classic Conquer. It is free to play and the team states there is no pay to win layer, so the ranking ladder is decided by time and skill rather than by the size of anyone's cash shop order. The class roster covers Warriors, Taoists, Ninjas, Monks and Pirates.

The distinguishing work here is on the client itself rather than on the content. The 2.0 client has been heavily modified with hundreds of changes covering bug fixes, quality of life improvements and features that did not exist in the original, and the graphics engine has been rebuilt to support anti aliasing, custom resolutions and an unlocked frame rate. That is unusual: most Conquer private servers ship the original executable and change only the server side.

Content runs across PvE dungeons and open PvP, with guilds as the organising structure and a recurring event calendar. The team ships patches, balance fixes and new content on a frequent cadence, and the Discord is used as the hub for guild recruitment and support.
