Phoenix XI

Type: Final Fantasy XI Private Server
Website: phoenix-xi.com

Phoenix XI is a single box Final Fantasy XI private server built for players who want the level 75 cap era rather than the level sync design Square Enix introduced in later expansions. The level 75 cap was the point at which FFXI's endgame revolved around six person party balance and slow, deliberate leveling, and Phoenix XI is built to recreate that pacing rather than accelerate past it. The server is currently set in the Treasures of Aht Urghan expansion, giving players access to that era's job abilities, zones and mission content, and the team has stated plans to eventually add Wings of the Goddess on top of it. Its single box design means the server is built around one character per client rather than the six-character multiboxing setups common on some other FFXI private servers, pushing players back toward genuine party formation.

Single Box Design: The server is built around one character per client rather than multiboxing an entire six person party, encouraging players to group with others instead of playing solo with alts.
Level 75 Cap Era: Character progression and job balance are held at the classic level 75 cap rather than the higher caps introduced by later expansions.
Treasures of Aht Urghan Content: The Aht Urghan expansion's zones, missions and job content are live on the server now.
Wings of the Goddess Planned: The team has stated it plans to eventually add Wings of the Goddess content on top of the current Aht Urghan era.
