Lineage 2 Death is a heavily customised PvP server built on the Interlude chronicle, and it makes no attempt to be a faithful Interlude experience. Characters begin at level 80 and climb to a cap of 99, which removes the classic leveling curve entirely and puts a new player into endgame content on their first login. Layered on top of that is a large stack of custom systems: extra gear tiers past the retail set, wings, a rebirth system, and skills imported from outside Lineage 2 altogether. The result is a server aimed squarely at players who log in to fight other players and treat gear progression as something that happens between fights rather than before them.

Enchant System: Safe enchant is +15 with a maximum of +65 at a 91% success rate. Premium runes raise the reachable maximum to +96.

Unlimited Augments: Weapons, armour and jewellery can all be augmented without the retail restrictions.

Two Hour Buffs: Buff duration is two hours, so rebuffing is not a chore repeated between every fight.

Imported Skill Set: The custom skills are modelled on abilities from League of Legends and Dota 2 rather than drawn from the Lineage 2 skill list.

Rebirth and Talents: A rebirth system and a custom talent tree sit on top of normal character progression.

Custom Noblesse Quest: The Noblesse path is replaced with the server's own quest instead of the retail chain.

Unlimited Character Slots: There is no cap on how many characters an account can hold.

Siege Schedule: Fortress sieges run daily and castle sieges run weekly.

Weekly Heroes: Hero status is awarded every week rather than on the retail monthly cycle.
