Server Overview

HardSchool is a classic international Metin2 server that opened on 10 July 2026, and the name is the design brief. The level cap is 99, the original ceiling, and the team describes progression as slow and meaningful with every upgrade requiring effort. None of the modern power-creep systems that define newschool servers are included. Everything on an account is earned in game rather than bought. It holds a 24 hour peak of 75 online across a Discord of 679 members.

Version & Era

Max Level: 99

Reach: International
Grand Opening: 10 July 2026

Features

No Pay-to-Win: Every level, drop and stat on an account is earned through play. The team states it as the founding rule.
Level 99 Cap: The original Metin2 ceiling, kept rather than extended, so the old gear tiers and build maths still apply.
No Power-Creep Systems: The modern additions that newschool servers layer on are deliberately absent.
Slow Progression: Growth is paced so that an upgrade is an event rather than a step.
Dungeons: Classic dungeon content rather than custom instances.
Guild Wars: Guild-scale conflict as standing content.
Fair Economy: The economy is positioned as the thing the low rates exist to protect.
