Server Overview

MU Secret is a Season 3 Episode 1 MU Online server built around the original x1 pace, and it is unusually strict about what that means. There are no resets, so a character that reaches the level ceiling has genuinely reached it rather than looping back to level 1 for stat points, and there is no web shop at all, which removes the usual private server route of buying gear with money. The team describes the server as hard and long-term, and the configuration follows from that description: progression is measured in months, and the classes that unlocked late in retail MU still unlock late here. It has been running on those terms for roughly two years.

Features

No Resets: Characters do not reset, so the level curve is the actual progression rather than a loop players repeat for stat points.

No Web Shop: The server runs without an item shop, and the team states that items are not sold for donations.

Season 3 Events Intact: The team states that every official Season 3 event works as it did on the original client.

Class Unlock Requirements: Magic Gladiator and Dark Lord are gated behind levels 220 and 250 respectively, matching the classic unlock rules rather than being handed out at character creation.

Anti-Hack Protection: Protection runs on both the client and the server side rather than client-side only.

Community Forum: The project runs its own forum at forum.musecret.net alongside its Discord.
