Longdo RO is now in its second season, picking the story up after all twelve Warlords of Season 1 were defeated, and the admins are open that Season 2 launched with less content than it will eventually have because they build, fix and expand as they go. Their own pitch is that this is a server for players who are not in a rush and do not care about competing with everyone else, described as somewhere to play after work, chat and relax. Season 1 ran for three years under the same two admins, GM Aek and GM Kim, who describe themselves as one unpredictable and one completely unhinged, and they invite people to walk around and try the server before committing. The design centre of gravity is farming: gear is not sold, it is earned through material chains that run city by city, and the team says equipment can be obtained and upgraded without spending real money.

Custom Storyline: An original episode chain runs from Echoes of the Fallen City through Seals of the Eternal Nexus, The Wildroot Calamity, The Mad Sands of Morocc and Enclave of the Awaiting, with more announced.
City By City Progression: Custom equipment, weapons and Enchant Stones are tied to specific cities including Navayo, Mooc, Altzibar and Hugheneim.
Enchant Stones: Enchant Stones slot directly into gear the same way cards do, and are obtained through gacha systems fed by monster materials.
Custom Instance Dungeons: Chaotic Laboratory 1 and 2, Crimson Castle, Hall of the Seven Heroes and a set of boss battles produce crafting materials.
Custom Farming Maps: Rotting Abyss, Elysian Sanctum, Glacial Labyrinth and Null Protocol are purpose built levelling and zeny maps.
Farm Based Gearing: Equipment is not sold directly. Progression starts with Booster gear and moves up through city tiers using Oridecon, Elunium, Bradium, Carnium, Shadowdecon and Zelunium.
Airtime System: New accounts get three days of free playtime on registration, airtime does not tick down while offline, and more can be bought when needed.
Player Housing: Housing comes with home mining, gardening, furniture and collection storage.
Pet Systems: Pet farming sits alongside a Pokemon style pet egg catching system.
Collection Systems: Card collection, card exchange points, monster hunting and episode hunting all run as separate long term goals.
Character Options: Race change, titles, title rank, charms, refine bonus and a battle pass are all live.
Quality Of Life Commands: The server exposes commands for autoloot by item or type, rate checks, monster and item lookups, drop source lookups and pet or homunculus intimacy.
