Server Overview

Midgard Tales is a free high-rate Ragnarok Online private server running the Renewal engine, and it has been operating since 2022. It tracks official kRO content closely and is currently on Chapter 2 of the World Tree storyline, Song of World Tree: Fragments of the End, with the fourth job tier in place. The rate design sits deliberately in the middle of the high-rate band: 200x experience removes the leveling wall without collapsing the whole game into a login screen, while a 20x item rate keeps hunting worth doing. New characters are not dropped into that cold, because a Training Camp exists to carry an account up to the point where the current content actually begins.
