scRO.online is a Pre-Renewal Ragnarok Online server that opened on 2 January 2026 and runs what the team labels a Custom World. The base is classic second job Ragnarok with a max level of 50 for both base and job, and the rates sit at a modest 5x base, 5x job and 10x drop, so the underlying balance is the tight one that second job RO was designed around.

What sits on top of that base is not modest at all. The server ships over 300 custom maps, more than 1500 modified items, over 300 adjusted skills and eleven playable races including hardcore variants. The stat ceilings are deliberately classic: 160 DEX for instant cast, 100 VIT for anti stun and 400 LUK for anti status, which keeps builds recognisable to anyone who played the original game.

Around the classic core the team has built systems that are closer to a different genre. There is a technology level system running from tier one to tier three, a roguelike forest with randomised layouts and scaling difficulty, an original mining mechanic feeding crafting, a rare roll system for weapons, and eleven server wide global quests. Guild competition runs through both standard WoE and a dedicated GvG arena.

Eleven Global Quests: Server wide quests with major rewards run alongside the standard quest lines.
GvG Arena: A dedicated guild versus guild arena runs alongside standard WoE.
Wide Party Share: Party experience share works across a plus or minus 15 level range, which makes grouping across level gaps practical.
Fast Item Use: The item use delay is 0.15 seconds, well under the standard Ragnarok value.
