DawnX is a revision 667 RuneScape private server built around four pillars it states up front, which are AFK progression, raid content, player versus player combat and in-house gambling. Its own listing describes it as revision 667 with custom items, PvP, PvM, PK bots, custom raids, wilderness events and safe gambling, and the guides on the site back that up with a long list of named systems rather than a general pitch. Progression runs through an item forge that upgrades gear between tiers at the risk of destroying it, a weapon levelling system that rewards NPC kills, and armour sets whose bonuses stack into genuinely non-standard numbers. The client is distributed as a downloadable JAR from the site, and a vote system and in-game store sit alongside it.

DawnX runs revision 667, a mid-era RuneScape codebase, and layers custom content on top of it rather than trying to reproduce a specific live-game date. Content is split between wilderness activity, boss and minigame areas, and an item progression track that is entirely the server's own. Set bonuses push hit points as high as 1800 and add soul split healing in the range of 6 to 12.5 percent, and accessory set effects add between 150 and 2500 damage on a second hit, which places the combat maths well outside anything on the original revision.

PK Bots: The wilderness is populated with tiered PvP bots whose rewards scale with the tier killed. They drop emblems that can be collected in the style of Bounty Hunter without needing an assigned target, which gives solo players a real wilderness loop.

Item Forge: Gear bought from the cash bag shop can be upgraded into the next tier through the Item Forge, with a genuine chance of losing the item on a failed attempt.

Weapon Levelling and Prestige: Weapons gain experience from NPC kills, and each prestige adds 5 percent damage up to a tenth prestige ceiling.

Custom Raids and Bosses: Named encounters include Kolodion in the Mage Arena, reached through tickets earned from mage kills at a stated 1 in 75 spawn chance, and Skotizo through the Revenant Caves ether system.

Themed Combat Zones: Zombie Land drops haunted weapons from skeletons, the Revenant Caves run on collected ether, and a warriors guild style minigame drops the shadow defender.

Armour Set Bonuses: Nex, Kalphite, Zaros, Elite, Champion, Obsidian and Shadow sets each carry their own bonus profile, raising hit points toward 1800 and granting soul split healing between 6 and 12.5 percent.

Safe Gambling and Lottery: Gambling is run as a server system rather than a player trust exercise, with lottery tickets earned at 1 percent of item sale value and a chest system running from bronze through champion keys with different reward odds per tier.

Drop Aura: An equippable drop aura gives a 20 percent chance to double a drop.

Looting Bag and Wilderness Kit: A looting bag auto-collects drops but is lost on death, seed pod teleports move players around the wilderness, and the Mandrith exchange converts artifacts.

Donator Ranks: Donator ranks scale the number of chests a player can open and increase lottery bonuses.
