Server Overview
Happy-Rune is a custom 317-protocol RuneScape private server that pairs an old-school server base with 117-revision HD client rendering, so the framework is classic but the world does not look it. The content direction is squarely custom rather than OSRS-faithful: the server leans on raid variety, minigames and a fast money curve instead of reproducing a specific historical revision. That fast curve is a deliberate design choice and the team markets it as one, because it narrows the gap between a new account and a donor account. The other thing the server puts front and centre is anti-scam protection in gambling and trading, which reads as a direct answer to the duel-arena and dicing scams that follow the wider RSPS scene around.
Revision & Era
Revision: 317 protocol, custom content
Client Rendering: 117 HD
Direction: Custom RSPS rather than an OSRS replica
Features
Raid Variety: The server runs several distinct raid formats, including solo raids, cave raids, combat raids, elite raids and DBZ raids.
Custom Minigames: Custom barrows, pest control, a golem minigame, a kings minigame and trials sit alongside the raid content.
117 HD Rendering: The 117-revision HD visuals are layered over the 317 server backend, so classic mechanics run under modern lighting and draw distance.
Custom Weapons: The item catalogue includes server-exclusive weapons that do not exist in the stock 317 toolkit.
Accelerated Economy: Money-making chains are intentionally streamlined so a new account reaches a usable bank quickly.
Anti-Scam Gambling: The gambling system is built with scam protections rather than left as an open trade window, which is the server's stated answer to the duel arena scams common on competing 317 servers.
Weekly Raffles: Voting, donating and event participation feed weekly raffles with large prize pools.
Wilderness and Duel Arena: The standard 317-style PvP set is present, with the anti-scam framework applied to staking as well as to gambling minigames.
