Zonica is a 668 revision RuneScape private server built on the 2011 pre EOC era, and the staff frame the whole project around that period rather than around custom content bolted onto a modern base. Their own description of the world is an immersive, fast paced and unique world with extensive clan content, dynamic player versus player encounters and a competitive environment, which puts PvP and clan warfare at the centre of the design rather than at its edge. Around that core sit 22 working skills, a spread of more than a dozen bosses and a set of minigames that can be run solo or with a group. The staff also say construction and dungeoneering will be added if the community asks for them, so the skill list is treated as open rather than finished.

The 668 framework is what carries the nostalgia here, and the staff pair it with additions that never existed in 2011, such as custom arenas and a dedicated ranking system.
