Dura is an Open Tibia server built around a single design philosophy, which the team states as Make Tibia Challenging Again. It runs a 7.4 client with gameplay rooted in the classic 7.2 real map, and it is explicitly aimed at seasoned players who want consequence and danger restored rather than at newcomers looking for a soft landing. The classic map has been expanded with more than 20,000 individual custom modifications, including new areas, spawns, quests and dungeons woven into familiar territory. Dura has run for over three years without a server reset, so character progress carries forward and every death still costs something. Its systems are deliberately interconnected: the Elite Monster, Legendary Item, Ambush and Heroism systems all feed into one another to build a world that pushes back at the player.
