Tibia Idle is an Open Tibia server built around one idea: your character stays in the world when you close the client. It runs the 8.0 client and the classic global map, but adds a browser layer where a character can be set hunting and left there, gaining experience, skills, magic level and loot with nobody at the keyboard. The design deliberately refuses to make that the optimal way to play. Idle gains run roughly three times slower than hunting manually, so an hour of real play still outpaces a long stretch of drifting, and the player list marks active hunters in green and idle hunters in blue so nobody is ambushing an empty chair by accident. Everything else is left as Tibia was, including the rates, which the team states are x1 across the board.

Idle Hunt: A character can be left hunting from the browser and keeps earning experience, skills, magic and loot at about a third of manual speed.
Active and Idle Marking: The player list shows manual hunters in green and idle hunters in blue, which keeps PvP targeting and party invites honest.
Boosted Creature: One monster is picked at random after each server save and gives an extra 15 percent experience, but only to idle hunters.
Idle Points: Premium accounts earn one idle point per 30 minutes spent idling, and tradeable idle coins are worth ten points each.
Fast Sell Loot: A marked tile and lever at the depot liquidates a full backpack in one action.
Fast Idle Entry: Premium accounts can teleport straight to a level appropriate hunting zone, for a fee at higher levels.
Bless Statue: All blessings can be bought for 60,000 gold, which cuts the death penalty and backpack loss.
Addon System: Addons are handled through NPC Gustaw in Carlin instead of the full retail quest chain.
Weekly Ferumbras Raid: A Ferumbras raid runs on a weekly schedule as scheduled endgame content.
Task System: A task system gives goals and rewards on top of ordinary hunting.
Open Quests: Pits of Inferno opens at level 80, and Djinn and Rashid trading needs no access quest.
