Project Legacy

Project Legacy is a Vanilla+ server built on the original 1.12 client and VMaNGOS, focused on expanding the Classic experience while preserving its core identity.

Instead of replacing Vanilla, Project Legacy builds upon it with carefully designed content and quality-of-life improvements. Open Beta launches July 17 and features over 150 new quests, cross-faction grouping and guilds, dual specialization, and class updates for previously underperforming specializations including Retribution Paladin, Protection Paladin, Balance Druid, Shadow Priest and Survival Hunter.

Project Legacy also includes optional progression systems such as Prestige Mode and Lorewalker Mode, allowing players to replay the journey with unique challenges and cosmetic rewards.

The goal is simple: create the server many Classic players imagined over the years—a long-term home that respects Vanilla's gameplay while thoughtfully expanding the world rather than replacing it.
