Originally launched on March 15, 2024, PlayCabal has grown into a large international CABAL community and continues to receive updates, events, balance adjustments, and new content.

PlayCabal isn't designed to give you everything the moment you create your character.

Instead, it keeps the feeling of progression that makes CABAL rewarding, while improving many of the systems that normally make progression unnecessarily slow or frustrating.

You still have something to farm, upgrade, craft, collect, unlock, and work toward — but your time is respected.

Dungeons are one of the most important parts of CABAL, so PlayCabal has made several changes aimed at making dungeon farming feel more rewarding.

Selected dungeons have been shortened and optimized, reducing unnecessary waiting and improving the overall farming experience.

Other changes include:

Instead of simply running dungeons for raw drops, your dungeon activity also contributes toward additional progression through systems such as DP, AP, crafting, upgrades, runes, collections, and missions.

PlayCabal keeps many of CABAL's major progression systems intact while adjusting them to be more reasonable for a private-server environment.

The goal is simple:

Always give your character something meaningful to work toward.

Upgrading equipment is one of CABAL's biggest progression systems, but losing enormous amounts of progress to bad RNG can be frustrating.

PlayCabal introduces several changes designed to make upgrading more manageable.

Divine Safeguards can be used beginning from +1, allowing players to protect their progression much earlier.

The Extreme Upgrade system has also been modified compared with the traditional system, including changes aimed at reducing destructive progression mechanics.

Players receive enough Skill Transcendence points to eventually unlock every available upgrade, removing the need to permanently sacrifice one progression path for another.

Playing the game itself is an important part of PlayCabal's progression philosophy.

By completing dungeons and earning Dungeon Points (DP), players can access useful progression items through the DP Shop.

Depending on the current shop rotation and configuration, rewards can include things such as:
