L2RETURN is a PvP-focused Lineage 2 Interlude server with x2000 EXP and SP rates and a custom, fast-paced setup. After three months of development, testing and balancing, the server wiped and launched a new season, which the team describes as focused on better PvP, better balance, improved farming and a more competitive Interlude experience. The new era opened on 18 September 2026 at 20:00 GMT+2 together with System Patch v5, which adds new anticheat protection and is required to join. Hero status comes from PvP, subclasses and noblesse need no quests, and a regular rotation of TvT, Deathmatch and Capture the Flag events keeps the server centered on combat.

The server runs the Interlude client on custom PvP settings with its own item tiers.

Enchanting: Safe enchant is +4 and max is +30, with crystal and donation scrolls reaching +35 at 89% normal, 95% blessed and 100% crystal success rates.
Hero System: A character becomes hero with 5 PvP kills, and Olympiad runs from 18:00 to 22:00 with heroes changing every Sunday at 23:00.
No-Quest Progression: Subclasses and noblesse are available without their quests, and buffs from the NPC buffer last 3 hours.
Raid Bosses: Antharas, Valakas, Halisha and Emberis are in the rotation, the new season adds 3 more raid bosses, and Dynasty armor now drops only from raid bosses.
Events: TvT, Deathmatch and Capture the Flag are joined with the .tjoin, .djoin and .cjoin commands.
Castle Modes: Castle Lord and Castle Owner Member modes are available as voiced commands.
Voiced Commands: Players can resurrect every 30 seconds for 1 Gold Bar, repair a broken character, change name or password and check who is online.
System v5 Balance: The v5 patch fixes enchant rates and mage casting speed, rebalances Frenzy and Angelic Icon reuse, restricts Infinity weapon stats to heroes and reworks the SHAFT zone.
Custom Content: Custom tattoos, custom zones, small wings, augmentation and a PvP/PK color and title system are part of the setup.
