Shaiya is a faction MMORPG split between the Alliance of Light and the Union of Fury, with difficulty grades that let a player choose how punishing their own character will be. Tales of Teos has been running that game continuously since 2019, which makes it one of the oldest Shaiya projects still taking new players, and the team leans on that record rather than on launch hype. The server is built as a free-to-play world in the strict sense: the team states that no purchase grants an advantage in stats, equipment or ranking, so the item mall is cosmetic and convenience rather than a power ladder. On top of the Episode 7.3 base the team has kept shipping its own systems, and the client ships with six selectable languages so the player base is not restricted to one region.
