Shards of Dalaya

Type: EverQuest Private Server
Website: dalaya.org
Tagline: "Embark on an immersive journey filled with adventure, nostalgia, and the rich lore of Dalaya."

Shards of Dalaya is a long-running, free to play custom EverQuest server that blends classic EverQuest mechanics with its own world, lore and twists, creating a distinct setting rather than recreating live content. The current server, Dalaya, launched on September 27, 2024 with a full wipe on the ROF2 client, carrying over the world of the original Shards of Dalaya with rebalanced classes. It is privately funded and the team states it will never ask for donations or charge real money for any service. It suits players who know EverQuest's systems but want new zones, quests and raid encounters instead of replaying Norrath.

Dalaya is a total conversion: the classic classes and mechanics remain, but zones, quests and raid targets are custom built for its own world.
