Tides of Power draws its mechanics from the T2A and Renaissance eras without binding itself to either, and the world reflects the same approach: classic Britannia at its core, then reshaped by a flood into modified dungeons, abandoned homesteads, newly dangerous regions and subfactions fighting over what is left. There is no Trammel and no cash shop. Playing is 100% free with no donation system at all, which is rare enough in this category to be the headline. UOR Templates Embraced: UOR special hits, Nox and Inscription mages, and disarm thieves are all viable builds.
BOD Crafting System: The Renaissance-era bulk order system used as the crafting base.
Colored Ingot Bonuses: Items crafted from colored ingots gain combat efficiency, so mining feeds combat directly.
Reshaped Britannia: Modified dungeons and newly dangerous regions rather than the map as shipped.
Subfaction Conflict: Groups contesting what survived the flood, built into the world rather than bolted on.
