Moonwell

Moonwell is one of the longest-running World of Warcraft Burning Crusade private servers, operating continuously since January 2011. Built on the WoW 2.4.3 patch, the server offers a heavily enhanced version of the classic TBC experience with x100 experience rates that let players get raid-ready in just a few hours of play. Moonwell launched a fresh server in November 2025, attracting over 3,000 players at peak. What truly sets Moonwell apart is its library of 12 custom legendary weapons — one for every class — designed using Blizzard's original mathematical formulas to ensure balance while filling a gap that TBC never addressed. The server has been carefully tuned to allow small groups to experience all raid content, with 25-player instances adapted for 10–15 players.
