Type: Final Fantasy XI Private Server
Website: edenxi.com
Tagline: The retail-faithful 75-cap ToAU server
Server Overview
Final Fantasy XI is Square Enix's classic 2002 MMORPG set in Vana'diel, defined by party-based combat, deep jobs, and a cooperative endgame. Eden is a level 75-cap server that recreates the Treasures of Aht Urhgan era with a few quality-of-life additions, defining "era" as everything up to and including the September 2008 patch. Its reputation is built on mechanics accuracy: Eden does extensive research before implementing anything, so the issues that plague less careful servers (broken weapon skill modifiers, miscalculated TP gain, odd enmity behavior on PLD/NIN tanks) simply don't occur here. The team prizes faithfulness to retail math on WS damage, enmity, TP gain, and BCNM rewards, considering the 75 ToAU era the perfect balance of great content and genuine cooperation.
