Game4World has been running free game servers since 2022, with Ultima Online alongside its Counter-Strike 1.6 and Lineage 2 Interlude projects, and the team states that every server it launches is free with no subscriptions, hidden fees or in-game purchases. The Ultima Online shard runs on the ModernUO emulator over the original map, so the geography is the one veterans already know while the systems on top of it are the team's own. Its two flagship additions are Oaths of Aetheria and Dominion Wars, a territory war layer where guilds fight over 27 regions they can then hold and tax. There is no registration step, so a player can point a client at the login server and be in the world immediately.

The shard uses the original Ultima Online map with a custom ruleset built on ModernUO, supporting both PvP and PvE play in English.

Oaths of Aetheria: The shard's own campaign layer, sitting on top of the standard Ultima Online content.
Dominion Wars: A territory war system covering 27 regions of Aetheria that guilds fight to conquer, hold and tax.
Custom resources: Mithril can be mined, Dragonskin harvested and Aethersteel smelted, all of which are additions to the standard resource tree.
Custom dyes: The alchemy system carries 3000 custom hues for dyemaking.
Gathering automation: Smart bots handle mining, lumberjacking and farming so gathering does not require constant attention.
Offline mode: A character can keep working for up to three hours after the player logs out.
No monetisation: The team states there are no subscriptions, hidden fees or in-game purchases on any of its servers.
