Gold MU Online is a Polish MU Online server running the Season 6 client with a set of custom additions built on top of it. The team works from full Season 6 source code rather than from a packaged emulator, and that is the difference that shapes the whole server: systems can be replaced outright instead of only being reconfigured. The clearest example is Castle Siege, where Gold MU wrote its own siege system rather than shipping the stock Season 6 event that most servers inherit unchanged. Rates sit in the mid to high band, quick enough that a new character reaches endgame content in a reasonable stretch of play but slow enough that gear is still something you farm for. The current timeline opened with a fresh start rather than running continuously since the project began, so the level ladder reflects one shared starting point.
