MU Classic is not a private server running an old Main with new paint. The whole game, client and server, is rebuilt from scratch on a new engine written in modern C++. Its foundation is classic MU: every world, monster and item you remember, from Lorencia to Icarus. On top of that come systems classic MU never had: reworked skills on cooldowns, runes and sockets, a raid boss, voiced quests, a player market, a Helper, rebalanced mechanics and scaling, and modern lighting and detail. It is free to play and runs natively on Windows, macOS and Linux, with no emulators. The open beta is live now and is shaped by its players: play, find what's broken, and tell us.

Reworked Chaos Machine: Refine gear, craft wings and combine jewels.

Helper: Auto-play that hunts, loots jewels and runes, and can run a repeatable quest for you.

Modern Renderer: HDR lighting, PBR materials and real-time shadows from trees, buildings, monsters and players.
