AugmentPS is an Old School RuneScape private server that spent over a year in development before opening, and it aims at an authentic Old School feel rather than a heavily custom one. Combat accuracy, switching speed and the underlying formulas are built to match Old School behaviour, and the wilderness uses an OSRS style target system rather than a simplified substitute. The client runs on desktop and mobile, and it ships with a custom plugin hub built directly into it, so the plugin experience players expect from Old School carries over. Several game modes cover different ways to play, spanning PvP, PvM, economy and skilling focused accounts.

AugmentPS runs on the Old School RuneScape revision with a semi custom build. The content set stays close to modern OSRS: Chambers of Xeric and Theatre of Blood are implemented, Zalcano is in, every wilderness boss is live, and new bosses are added as Old School itself updates. Skilling uses authentic mechanics including Rooftop Agility, and Construction is implemented with the full Old School feature set.

Raids: Chambers of Xeric and Theatre of Blood are both implemented as working raid content.
Wilderness: Every wilderness boss is live, along with Revenant Caves, Mage Arena II and an OSRS style target system for PvP.
Slayer and PvM: Demonic Gorillas, Lizardman Shamans and Neville's slayer cave are among the implemented PvM areas.
Custom Plugin Hub: A custom plugin hub is integrated directly into the client rather than bolted on afterwards.
World Switcher: The client carries a world switcher that behaves the way the Old School one does.
Full Skilling: Every skill is trainable using authentic mechanics, including Rooftop Agility and a complete Construction implementation.
Game Modes: Several account modes are available so players can pick between PvP, PvM, economy and skilling focused play.
Ongoing Updates: New bosses are added on an ongoing basis to track Old School RuneScape content, with the Desert Treasure 2 boss set on the roadmap.
