Server Overview

Stormgarde is a solo friendly World of Warcraft private server that has been online since February 2020 and is built around a Playerbot AI system that changes how a single player reaches group content. Instead of gating dungeons, raids and rated queues behind a guild roster, the server fills LFG, LFR, FLEX, Scenario, Arena and Battleground queues with bots, and it lets a player bring their own alternate characters into the party as bots as well. Progression runs at x5 experience with weekly reward cycles layered on top of the normal levelling curve. The server takes an explicit no pay to win position: voting rewards are limited to items that are already obtainable in game, and there is no custom god gear or premium gear tier for sale.

Stormgarde is listed on the 3.3.5 Wrath of the Lich King client. The point of the build is coverage rather than a single raid tier. Because bots can fill any queue, a solo player can work through dungeons, raids and PvP brackets during off peak hours without waiting on group formation, and real player groups still form when the population supports them.

Weekly Rewards: Recurring weekly reward cycles give players a fixed set of goals on top of normal progression.
Heirlooms Through Voting: Voting points can be spent on heirloom gear, which speeds up levelling alternate characters.
No Pay To Win: Voting only awards items that can already be farmed in game, and there is no premium gear shop or custom god gear.
Long Running Realm: The server has been running since early 2020 rather than resetting into a new season.
