Tagline: The authentic Planes of Power-era Mac EverQuest experience

EverQuest is the genre-defining 1999 MMORPG famous for its punishing, community-driven gameplay in Norrath. The Al'Kabor Project (TAKP) faithfully emulates the original Macintosh "Al'Kabor" server, recreating Planes of Power-era EverQuest with painstaking accuracy. It runs on Mac, Windows, and Linux, with NPC statistics and mechanics rebuilt to match the era exactly. TAKP positions itself as "the real EverQuest," prioritizing authenticity over modern conveniences, and has built a mature, dedicated community around that philosophy.
