Tibiara runs two separate legacy Tibia worlds rather than a single shard, so a player picks the client era they want instead of accepting whichever one the staff settled on. Eternia is the original 7.4 world the project started with, and Inferna is the newer 8.0 world built for players who want the later client without the modern game attached to it. Both worlds are hosted in Ashburn, Virginia, USA, with proxies serving Europe and South America, so the latency story is not purely North American. Characters are limited to one per world at the same time, which is the rule that keeps the economy and the war rankings honest on both.

Eternia is the legacy 7.4 world and Inferna is the 8.0 world, and the two run in parallel with their own rules and their own populations. Inferna opened on Monday, June 22nd, 2026 at 16:00 UTC as a PvP-Enforced world with custom balance settings, while Eternia is the older world that predates it.

Two parallel worlds: Eternia serves the 7.4 crowd and Inferna serves the 8.0 crowd, so the project never forces one client era on the whole playerbase.
One character per world: Players are allowed to play one character per world at the same time, which cuts out the multi-character farming that usually wrecks a legacy economy.
Skull system: Inferna runs a ladder of 2x frags to a 7 day red skull to a 14 day ban, so unchecked player killing carries a real account cost.
PvP experience rules: No experience is gained from killing a player below level 30, and killing someone less than half your own level pays nothing, which removes the incentive to farm low levels for progress.
Anti-cheat enforcement: The staff state a strict policy against cheating and name bots, macros, illegal software and multiclienting as the specific targets.
Hosting and proxies: The game servers sit in Ashburn, Virginia, USA, with proxies for Europe and South America.
