Aion America runs the 4.6 patch of Aion on NCSoft's original 4.6 server files rather than on an emulator rebuild, and the whole pitch of the server is that this makes it behave the way retail Aion did at that patch. Rates are left at 1x, which in a scene full of x50 servers is the deliberate choice: the leveling curve, the drop tables and the enchanting economy all stay at the values the game was balanced around.
