L2Aurum is an Interlude server pitched squarely at players who want to skip the grind and get to the fighting, running x300 experience and x50 adena on a Java based core. Drop is deliberately left at x1 while experience is enormous, which pushes gearing toward the GM shop, the custom equipment lines and the offline shop economy rather than toward farming spawns for hours. The server runs in seasons, and the most recent Summer Season opened without a wipe and without deleting accounts, so characters from the previous season were kept rather than reset. New players start fresh at a season opening while returning players regain access to their old characters a few weeks after launch.

The server runs Interlude on an L2JAVA core, with enchanting safe to +3 and capped at +16. Custom zones, custom weapons and custom armours are layered on top of the standard Interlude content.

Global Gatekeeper: A global gatekeeper moves characters anywhere on the map from a single teleport list.
Custom Zones: The server adds its own zones on top of the Interlude map.
Custom Weapons and Armours: Custom equipment lines extend progression past the standard Interlude gear ladder.
Offline Shop: Characters can be left trading offline, so the player market keeps running while their owners are away.
Season Continuity: The Summer Season opened with no wipe and no account deletion, keeping Season 1 characters intact.
