Spectres of Mystra runs Shaiya Episode 5.4, the fullest version of the classic content, and builds a PvP server on top of it rather than a levelling grind. Characters start at max level, which means the game opens at the point most Shaiya servers make players spend weeks reaching. Gear is where the progression actually lives instead, and the server states that its content is 100% farmable on a gold based economy, so equipment comes out of play rather than out of a shop. Lapis enchanting is capped at level 7, which puts a hard ceiling on how far a character can be pushed and keeps the gap between a new player and a veteran closable.
