xRoad is a Silkroad Online private server built around a low, 10 cap progression path for the Chinese faction only, rather than the higher 110 to 140 caps common across most current Silkroad private servers. The server frames itself as Progressive, meaning players are expected to work up through the early game rather than starting geared, and it pairs that pacing with an Unlimited Alchemy system that removes the usual caps on item enhancement. xRoad also ships a New Job System on top of the base Silkroad Online job framework, giving trading and thieving characters mechanics beyond the vanilla game.
