Ashen WoW is a progressive Vanilla server running at x1 with a two-year content plan, and the pitch is entirely about restraint. Spells, talents, quests and items behave exactly as they did in retail Vanilla. Battlegrounds and World PvP work as originally designed, with no cross-realm queues and no custom matchmaking layered on top. Content opens on a schedule rather than all at once: the server started at patch 1.2 and is currently at 1.3.0, working toward Naxxramas over two years. It holds a 24 hour peak of 389 online across a Discord of 2,255 members.

PvP As Designed: Battlegrounds and World PvP run without cross-realm queues or custom matchmaking.
Multiboxing Capped at Two: Two accounts permitted, with automation strictly forbidden. The line is drawn explicitly rather than left to interpretation.
Anti-Cheat Enforcement: No cheating, botting or exploiting, stated as an enforced rule rather than a hope.
AQ War Effort: The server-wide collection event is on the roadmap as a real event rather than skipped.
