Stormgarde

Stormgarde is a solo-friendly WoW private server that has been running since February 2020, built around a comprehensive Playerbot AI system that fundamentally changes how solo players experience World of Warcraft. Rather than locking dungeons and raids behind group requirements, Stormgarde populates LFG, LFR, FLEX, Scenarios, Arena, and Battleground queues with bots — including the option for players to use their own alt characters as party bots. The server runs an x5 experience rate with weekly rewards layered on top of standard progression, and explicitly maintains a no-pay-to-win stance: voting rewards are only items already obtainable in-game, and there is no custom god gear or premium gear sold.

The Playerbot system lets solo players queue for arenas and battlegrounds against bot teams when human queues are slow, and run dungeons / raids without waiting for group formation. Real player vs player content is preserved when the player population supports it; bots fill the gaps so solo players never get stuck behind queue times.

P2W Level: Very low — explicit no-P2W stance. Voting rewards only contain items already available through in-game farming, and there is no premium gear shop.
