Sponsored article. ConquerX purchased advertising on Nostalgic and receives this article as a courtesy of that package. We checked the operator's documentation on October 24, 2026; this is not a hands-on gameplay review.

Start with the operator's download page

ConquerX's official download page offers mirrors for a Windows client. Start there each time you need the installer instead of following a re-upload in a chat message. This article describes preparation and the published instructions; it does not certify the download files or establish that every Windows configuration will run the game correctly.

The mirrors listed during our October review did not all carry the same version label. MediaFire and Mega were labeled v1353, while the Google Drive alternative showed v1336. A different label is a reason to ask the operator which package is current, not proof that one file is unsafe or that an older mirror cannot update.

Separate installation from your first group appointment

Create your account through the official site, obtain the currently recommended client and leave time for the patcher before the hour you promised to meet a friend. The download page specifically tells players to let patching finish before signing in. Avoid interrupting a visible update just because the launcher appears quieter than expected.

If access fails, record the stage: downloading, unpacking, patching, opening the client or entering the account. Each stage narrows a different question for support. Saying only that the game does not work leaves the operator guessing about several unrelated problems. Never include your password in the description or an uncropped screenshot.

Understand the display instructions

The handbook documents an in-game windowed 1024 setting followed by a configuration utility named _ConfigCreator.exe after closing the game. It describes using that tool to choose a desired resolution and a fullscreen-like fit. Follow the current official sequence rather than editing unrelated files because an old Conquer guide mentions similar filenames.

Make one display change at a time and note the previous value. Check that the login screen, inventory and dialogue remain readable before adjusting another option. A larger window is not an improvement if it hides interface controls outside your visible screen. Players using multiple monitors should pay particular attention to where the window actually opens.

Make a useful support report

For a rendering problem, describe the operating system, display resolution and whether the issue occurs before or after character selection. For a patcher problem, include the exact visible error and the mirror used. These details let support compare like with like without requiring you to share account secrets or a full desktop recording.

Do not disable security tools or install unrelated executables on the strength of an unsolicited direct message. Ask through the operator's official support channel for a verified explanation of a specific warning. This is particularly important for a returning player who remembers an older launcher and may mistake a familiar-looking upload for the current official client.

Check the first playable session

Once the client opens, test movement, targeting, a short fight and a trip through town before committing to an event. Check how text and effect visibility feel during actual play. A login that succeeds is only the first checkpoint; your goal is a session you can comfortably repeat.

Use our beginner route for the next decisions and the server overview to understand why a classic 5095 foundation still has custom systems. Keep any support answer you receive with the version it applies to, since client instructions can change.

Sources and next steps

The operator's handbook describes the systems discussed here; check the server rules before joining. Nostalgic observed 4,074 Discord members and 199 Discord users online on October 24, 2026 for the ConquerX listing. These are Discord community observations, not concurrent in-game players. Compare alternatives in the Conquer directory and start with our beginner guide.
