Start with a guild conversation

ConquerX lists Guild War in its official event handbook and publishes a separate results page. Those resources make it possible to ask a guild more focused questions before your first session. They do not establish that every newcomer has the same role, equipment or experience as the characters shown in a previous battle report.

Tell the group what your character can currently do and how much time you can stay. Ask whether the session is suitable for someone still learning the realm. An honest description gives the organizer room to assign a manageable task; pretending to understand a call usually creates more confusion than asking about it before the fight.

Confirm the time zone and the current event

The handbook lists a Sunday Guild War at 16:00 lasting two hours, but the schedule section does not identify a time zone. Treat that as an operator schedule to confirm, not a local appointment you can calculate confidently from the page alone. Ask which server clock applies and whether the next event has changed.

Read the current announcement near the day you plan to attend. A recurring listing is useful background, while a recent staff notice may describe a holiday change, maintenance or a different registration step. Keep the confirmed time with your own time zone so that the same misunderstanding does not repeat for the next guild member who asks.

Choose one useful responsibility

For a first battle, a narrow task is easier to learn than an entire guild strategy. Ask where to gather, whose calls to follow and what to do after being defeated. Knowing how to return to the group can matter more than memorizing every possible matchup before you have seen the map in a real session.

Prepare your inventory for the agreed role rather than copying a visible winner's equipment without context. Bring the supplies the group recommends, check the controls and leave room for the items you need to access quickly. Practice that routine outside the event so your first attempt does not happen while everyone is waiting for a coordinated move.

Read reports as dated evidence

The official Guild War results page shows a war date and player-level measures such as kills, deaths, damage and revives. Check the displayed date before calling it a picture of the present. A report may remain visible after the battle it describes and should not be turned into a claim about current participation.

Different measures also answer different questions. A character helping the group recover can contribute in a way that a kills-only ranking does not capture. Ask your organizer what a successful session looks like for your role instead of deciding that every player should optimize for the same number on the page.

Learn from one specific situation

After the event, choose a moment you did not understand and ask about that moment. Describe where you were, what call you heard and what happened next. This gives experienced members something concrete to explain without requiring a complete review of the battle or an argument about which player deserves credit.

Use our PvP preparation article for practice questions and the equipment comparison guide before spending on a new role. A useful first Guild War can be one where you finish with a clearer job for next week, even if your character never appears near the top of a leaderboard.

Sources and next steps

The operator's handbook describes the systems discussed here; check the server rules before joining. Nostalgic observed 4,074 Discord members and 199 Discord users online on October 24, 2026 for the ConquerX listing. These are Discord community observations, not concurrent in-game players. Compare alternatives in the Conquer directory and start with our beginner guide.
