Treat the pet as a system to learn

ConquerX's handbook describes custom pets, including a Pet Egg interaction with a Dragon in Twin City. It also identifies a healing pet. These are specific additions to investigate on this realm, rather than reasons to assume a remembered pet system from another Conquer server will behave the same way.

This article helps organize the questions worth answering before an investment. It is not a tested pet ranking or a promise about combat performance. The current handbook, in-game interaction and operator support should establish requirements and behavior; do not infer an undocumented ability from a pet's appearance or from the name used in a market listing.

Confirm the required item and interaction

Before buying an egg or using a scarce resource, check which item the current hatching process expects. Confirm the NPC and location from the operator's instructions, then read the dialogue carefully. Similar item names can be confusing on a server with both classic objects and custom additions, especially when returning after a long break.

Ask what happens when you confirm the interaction. Does it consume the item immediately, offer a choice or require another prerequisite? We do not supply an answer the documentation has not established. A brief question before confirmation is more useful than planning to reverse an action that may not have a normal reversal path.

Start from an activity, not a rarity label

Decide what you hope a pet will help you do. A healing function may sound appealing to someone learning a hunt, but its practical value depends on the current implementation and your character's needs. Ask about the relevant behavior in a concrete situation instead of asking which pet is best without any context.

For example, explain the type of activity, the stage of your character and what makes the session uncomfortable. That gives an experienced player a basis for saying whether the pet addresses the limitation or whether another change deserves attention first. A useful answer may be to postpone a purchase while you learn the route or improve normal preparation.

Price the whole decision

The visible egg price may be only one part of the decision. Before trading, ask whether the system has additional documented requirements and whether the offered item is the exact one needed. Compare equivalent offers and keep enough resources for normal play after the purchase rather than treating a new companion as the only goal that matters.

Follow the realm's current trading rules throughout that process. An offer outside the approved game tools is not made legitimate by being described as a pet service. Keep your account credentials private, and ask the operator to clarify any trade arrangement that depends on someone else logging in for you or promising an undocumented transformation.

Observe the result yourself

Once you have a pet, test it in an uncomplicated activity before relying on it during a group event. Watch what it actually does and note a question if the result differs from the explanation you received. Specific observations help support distinguish an expected limitation from a possible issue without requiring you to guess how the system is implemented.

Use the beginner guide to keep the first sessions manageable, and the equipment planning article when several upgrades compete for the same resources. A custom pet is most useful to your plan when its role is clear, rather than when it simply looks like the next rare object to collect.
