SWG Legends recreates the New Game Enhancements (NGE) era of Star Wars Galaxies, the post-2005 version that ran until SOE shut the game down in 2011. It ships with every original expansion, including Jump to Lightspeed space combat, plus custom content built on top by the Legends team. Legends is one of the largest SWG private servers, with a Discord community of roughly 14,000 members. It is the server to choose if your formative memory of SWG is the streamlined nine-profession NGE with iconic classes like Jedi, Bounty Hunter, and Smuggler. The team continues active development, including a custom Bespin expansion and new gathering professions.

NGE Ruleset: Faithful recreation of the final, post-2005 New Game Enhancements era.
Nine NGE Professions: Jedi, Bounty Hunter, Smuggler, Commando, Spy, Officer, Medic, Entertainer, and Trader.
Playable Jedi at Start: Jedi is an unlockable starting profession in NGE style, far more accessible than older eras.
Light and Dark Side Roles: Light Side Jedi tank via Parry and Dodge avoidance, Dark Side Jedi deal critical-strike damage.
