LegionPlus is a World of Warcraft server built on the Legion expansion, but it treats 7.x as a starting point rather than a museum piece. The team rebalances classes and specs, adds bosses and Mythic Plus affixes that never existed on retail Legion, and pulls content forward from later expansions so that a Legion character has somewhere new to go. Raids from earlier expansions come back as timewalking content, and the Fated modifier that retail introduced years afterwards is applied to Legion raids here. On monetisation the team states its position plainly: the shop carries cosmetics, pets and mounts, and it will never sell an end game best in slot item.

The realm runs Legion, which the team refers to as Legion x7, and layers post Legion content on top of it. Allied races from Battle for Azeroth and onwards are playable, and Battle for Azeroth dungeons have been implemented alongside the Legion dungeon list. Mythic Plus runs with a reworked affix pool that includes Afflicted, Storming and Incorporeal, all of which postdate Legion on retail. Class design is not left as it shipped either: Guardian Druids get Mark of Ursol restored, Fury Warriors take reduced damage, and other specs have been adjusted with the stated goal of making more of them viable.

Fated raids: Legion raids can be run in a Fated version with updated difficulty and updated rewards.
Custom bosses: The team adds bosses that do not exist on retail, with mounts, toys and pets as their unique rewards.
Hardcore mode: A one life challenge mode is available for players who want a permadeath run.
Dungeon companions: NPC companions fill the healer, tank and damage roles so a group can run content without a full party.
Reworked Mythic Plus affixes: Afflicted, Storming and Incorporeal have been added and existing affixes reworked.
Timewalking raids: Blackwing Lair, Black Temple, Ulduar and Firelands are available as timewalking raids, with custom timewalking bosses of their own.
Class rebalancing: Talents and tuning are adjusted per spec, including restored talents such as Mark of Ursol for Guardian Druids.
Battle for Azeroth dungeons: Dungeons from the following expansion have been implemented on the Legion client.
