Tagline: "Private Mists of Pandaria Project"

Server Overview

TwinStar is an international World of Warcraft project that the team says has been running since December 5, 2008, with a stated mission to deliver entertainment for everybody without any fee. Its current Mists of Pandaria offer, Helios, is a progressive realm that the owners describe as built by players, for players, and it has moved through the expansions over time: the project ran progressive content since TBC and WotLK and has now reached Mists of Pandaria. The team has said it plans to continue the journey into Warlords of Draenor in the future. It suits players who want a free, blizzlike MoP realm with an adjustable leveling pace and a long project history behind it.

Expansion & Content

The Mists of Pandaria offer runs on two realms, Helios and Erebos, with full cross-faction interaction between players. Patch 5.4, Siege of Orgrimmar, was released on April 1, 2026, and the current PvP season started on the same date.

Expansion: Mists of Pandaria
Client Version: 5.4.8
Current Patch: 5.4 (Siege of Orgrimmar)
Realms: Helios and Erebos
Next Planned Step: Warlords of Draenor

Features

Progressive Content: Raids and patches are released in stages rather than all at once, following the same progressive approach the project used in earlier expansions.
Cross-Faction Interaction: Alliance and Horde players can interact fully, which keeps groups and queues filled across both realms.
SoloQueue Arena: A solo queue arena system lets players enter rated arena play without forming a fixed team first.
LFR and LFG Improvements: The team has adjusted the Looking For Raid and Looking For Group tools for a private server population.
Conquest Catch-Up: Conquest Point catch-up mechanics help late joiners close the PvP gear gap during a season.
Custom Anticheat: The project runs its own anticheat system on the realms.

Twin <3

TwinStar is a project with a long history and a bright future. I started playing here in 2014, and I’ve never had any issues with this server. The TW team is doing a great job.
