BruteCO runs on patch 5165 with a semi-classic ruleset, and the clearest statement of what it is comes from what it takes out. Battle Power, Fans, Towers and Steeds are all removed, which strips away the layers modern Conquer stacked on top of a character's actual gear and skill and returns power to something a new player can read at a glance. The team leads its own feature list with Superman Archers and describes the result as balanced and not pay to win. Around that core sit the quality-of-life systems the old client never had, including a day and night cycle, dynamic weather, voiced NPCs, shift-click targeting, and companions that keep farming while you are away.
