FreedomWoW is a Ukrainian World of Warcraft private server built around Wrath of the Lich King 3.3.5a. Its realm, Freedom x5, is a PvE realm running five times the standard experience rate, and players connect with a normal client rather than a custom launcher. The project's defining trait is language: it ships a Ukrainian interface and accepts Ukrainian character names, which is unusual in a WotLK scene where English and Russian dominate. Class balance is kept close to retail Blizzard behaviour rather than rebalanced, so the staff's work concentrates on convenience features and on competitive integrity in rated PvP instead of on rewriting the game underneath it.

Cross-Faction Battlegrounds and Arenas: Alliance and Horde players can form mixed battleground groups and arena teams. This applies to the PvP brackets, not to dungeons or raids.

Arena Registration From Anywhere: Teams can queue for arena from any point in Azeroth instead of travelling to a registration NPC.

Rated Arena Privacy: Player location is hidden during rated arena matches, so opponents cannot scout or snipe a team before the match starts.

Anti-Multibox Enforcement: Staff moderate multiboxing in rated matches to keep the rated ladder between single players.

Non-Target Cast Bars: A cast bar that begins before a target is selected is announced by the team as in development, not as a shipped feature.

Free To Play: The team states the server is free to play, with an optional shop.
