SWG Stardust 2.1

Type: Star Wars Galaxies Private Server
Website: stardust-swg.com
Tagline: Highly customized Pre-NGE SWG built for fast, challenging combat

SWG Stardust 2.1 is a heavily customized Pre-NGE (Pre-CU era) Star Wars Galaxies server built on a modified Core3 codebase. Its focus is combat balance, fast-paced fights, and challenging content the team says you will not find elsewhere. Stardust uses the ModTheGalaxy client TRE files instead of the stock retail files, enabling custom assets and content. It keeps the classic 32-profession Pre-CU sandbox while layering on a custom Jedi path and heroic-style dungeons. The project is open-source and AGPL-compliant, and the team openly encourages other servers to borrow from its work.

Pre-CU / Pre-NGE Ruleset: The original 32-profession sandbox era as the foundation.
Combat-Focused Customization: Rebalanced, fast-paced combat as the core design goal.
Custom Jedi Unlock: Seven levels of Force sensitivity, one more than the SWGEmu Pre-CU standard.
Player Cities: Player-built cities supported.
Heroic Dungeons: Custom endgame content such as the Kimo Matriarch and Dath Disciples encounters.
Modified Client (ModTheGalaxy TRE): Custom client files enable bespoke assets and content.
Open Source: AGPL-compliant codebase, shared freely with the wider SWG community.

Active Players: Active Pre-CU server with a dedicated community; exact population not published.
