AOB Games, which runs under the name Age of Britannia, is a free to play custom Ultima Online shard that its creator describes as built by a UO fan for a balanced, rewarding and unique game experience. It is a fully updated shard carrying all expansions plus a custom content layer, and it advertises no skill cap at all alongside a 350 stat cap. The starting experience is deliberately generous, with every newly created character handed a 3x GM skillball and starter gear so a new player is contributing rather than grinding fundamentals for a week. Player versus player combat is confined to Felucca while Trammel stays safe, and Felucca carries its own mob spawns and loot to make the risk worth taking.

Age of Britannia runs as a fully updated shard with all expansions enabled and a custom content layer sitting on top rather than freezing at a specific classic era. No Skill Cap: Skills are uncapped and advance through skill difficulty progression, so a character is never forced to drop one skill to raise another.

Starter Skillball Package: Every character created receives a 3x GM skillball, starter gear and additional items to push past the opening grind, with a further 1x skillball available.

Felucca Risk Layer: Trammel is safe and PvP is restricted to Felucca, and Felucca runs its own special mob spawns and loot table so the dangerous facet pays for itself.

Custom Moongate Library: A custom moongate library gives access to the shard's own destinations rather than only the standard gate network.

Auto Loot and Token System: An auto loot system and a token economy are both built into the shard.

Custom Content Layer: The shard adds its own tameables, artifacts, monsters and quests on top of the standard expansion content.

Optional Anti Res Kill: Res kill protection is available as an option rather than being forced on the whole shard.

In-Game Command Set: The shard exposes its own commands, including kill count and karma or fame lookups, documented in a public wiki on the site.
