Old Paradise is a Sphere based Ultima Online free shard that has been running since 2004, which makes it one of the older continuously operated shards in the Russian speaking UO scene. It emulates the Renaissance era ruleset and layers exclusive content on top of it rather than aiming for a strict period recreation. Both PvP and PvE progression are supported, and the shard's own copy positions its custom game design as the reason to play there instead of an era accurate alternative. The site is published in Russian with a Latvian option, while the shard keeps an English listing for players outside that region.
